It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the temporary closure of the Oakbrook Chumash Indian Museum, effective February 28, 2026. Due to a lack of funding, the museum will be closed to the public on weekends until further notice. The museum will remain open only for school tours, private group tours, and special events and programming. This has been a terribly difficult decision for us.
