Dayle Bingham

Dayle Bingham is a museum professional with more than a decade of experience in museum collections, public engagement, and Indigenous cultural heritage. After serving as a staff member at Oakbrook for ten years, she joined the museum’s Board of Directors in 2026, bringing a deep understanding of its mission, operations, and community impact.

Dayle earned her degrees in Anthropology with a minor in American Indian Studies from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She remains actively involved with her alma mater as a member of the advisory board for CSUN’s American Indian Studies Program, supporting its continued growth and community engagement.

Her work is grounded in a strong understanding of North American Indigenous and colonial histories, with a particular focus on Tribal sovereignty, cultural stewardship, and ethical museum practices. Dayle is committed to fostering collaboration, education, and respectful engagement with Indigenous communities while advancing the museum’s mission to preserve and share cultural heritage.
