Connor McHarg

Educator

Connor McHarg earned a BA in Anthropology with an emphasis in Archaeology from UC Santa Barbara. His academic training emphasizes stable isotope and radiocarbon analysis, with hands-on laboratory experience preparing archaeological samples and radiocarbon dating at UCSB’s Paleoecology and AMS Radiocarbon Research Facility.


Connor began volunteering with the CIM in late 2025, eventually becoming hired as an educator in 2026. While his main responsibilities revolve around education, he has also been involved with cataloging museum artifacts and assisting with public outreach at various events.


Connor has a strong love for the outdoors, especially when it includes archaeological fieldwork. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, watching sports, and kickboxing.
