Sophia Wong

Sophia Wong is a graduate of the University of Southern California, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing. Prior to joining the Chumash Indian Museum's staff, she spent over twelve years as store and events manager at the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area Visitor Center and the Satwiwa Native American Indian Culture Center, as well as five years at Channel Islands National Park. Throughout the parklands, Sophia has planned and implemented public programs and events, many featuring Native American themes.

While at the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, Sophia served as a seasonal park guide with the National Park Service. She has also worked as a volunteer hike leader for the Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park, the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority, and the Topanga Canyon Docents.
